My name is Gennelle, Gee for short. I’m in my…ahem…let’s just say early 30’s and holding (no need to get too personal), and I’m addicted to the T! It’s my outlet, passion and motivation. It started as a love affair that’s grown into my life’s ambition. I’m in constant and perpetual pursuit of it. It makes me alive, gets me excited, and—in the words of Willie Nelson—it’s “always on my mind.”
To fuel this addiction, I work a regular full-time job and two part-time jobs. After all, variety is the spice of life and that remains true for my work life as well as my travel life. I am very blessed to have flexibility with my many (many) jobs and to have lots (and lots) of vacation time, which gives me the freedom to travel as much as I do. There’s only thing that would be better—if I was in charge of my own schedule. But, as I always say, one day. One day. ..
So everyone and their mama has a blog out there—that’s rings even more true with travel blogs. Some that I love reading, engaging with and learning from. With a ton of hesitation, I decided to throw my hat in the game and start my very own. Not because I think I’m an expert by any means or expect to have hundreds of followers and be on my way to blogger success. I made the choice to develop this because my mind kept telling me I couldn’t, and because I love to share what I DO know. With this, I hope that I can inspire, motivate or help others in their journeys to wander the world. My goal is to do so in an easy to read way! Last but not least, it’s also a great way to journal my experiences, giving me a beautiful tool for reflection.
